I studied pharmacy and subsequently a doctorate in medicine in pharmacology. Still, I am dedicated to alternative treatment and prevention of diseases, mainly through lifestyle modification, dietary changes, the use of medicinal plants and yoga. During a year of living and travelling alone in India and Nepal, I studied yoga and Ayurveda with yoga teachers and Ayurvedic doctors, who gave me a lot of valuable experience in their lifelong missions. Today, I am a certified yoga instructor, in which I mainly focus on its therapeutic and spiritual aspects, especially chakra yoga and cycle yoga for women. The female cycle is central to my focus, and I try to highlight the changing needs of the female body throughout the cycle and the necessity of respecting them to achieve total female health.
